How to Enroll

Start your Student’s Application

1.  Click on "Enroll Now" on October 1, 2024, then select "Enroll Now.” 
2. You will be directed to Create your School Mint Guardian Dashboard account.

This should take less than 10 minutes. Once your account is set up, you will receive an email confirmation. Please check that you have received the email confirmation before proceeding to the next steps.

3. Complete the guided

step-by-step online application.

You can save an application in process and return it later to complete it. Incomplete and unsubmitted applications will not be processed. We will send a reminder email via School Mint requesting guardians review the applications for completeness prior to the lottery.

Student's Birth Certificate

***Current utility bill, paystubs, public assistance documentation, etc.

** To complete your application, you will need to upload a copy of your driver's license or state ID and two proofs of residency (must show the provider name, your name, street address, and due date within the last 30 days), your student’s birth certificate, and immunization record. 

The Dominus High School Admissions Team reviews applications to ensure uploaded documents meet the requirements and verify priorities for the application to be included in the lottery. Applications received post-lottery will be placed on the waitlist by date and time stamp.

Enrollment FAQs

  • Who can apply to Dominus High School?

    At this time, Dominus High School accepts applications for students entering grades 9 and 10. All students in the state of Pennsylvania can apply for enrollment to Dominus High School.


    Consistent with Pennsylvania's Charter School Law, Dominus High School will give admissions preference to students who provide evidence of their interest in an entrepreneurial education. See 24 P.S. § 17-1723-A(b)(2). Such evidence may include, but shall not necessarily be limited to, submission of a statement of interest, presentation of a portfolio or graduation from an entrepreneurial focused middle school.

  • Can we apply if we are not an entrepreneur?

    Absolutely! All students in the State of Pennsylvania can apply for enrollment to Dominus High School.

  • Do you provide transportation?

    The home school district in which you reside is responsible for transportation. If you have questions, please contact your home school district. 

  • What is a Charter School?

    A Charter School is a tuition-free public school alternative to the public school model. Charter schools receive public funding but operate independently of local school districts. They have greater flexibility than traditional public schools in curriculum, schedule, teacher hiring and development, allocation of resources, and other areas.
